The Star Wars prequel trilogy is a series of movies released between May 1999 and May 2005. All three movies were written and directed by George Lucas. The three movies are: Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999), Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002) and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005)
